i just finished school and am thinking of going somewhere in the world to work at a golf resort. i’ve got a master’s degree in business and non-management golf experience (pro shop, events management) from canada and australia. i’m thinking i would love to go to the caribbean or south america or maybe africa…any recommendations/advice? st.kitts has been recommended to me more than once. any info at all would be much appreciated!
augusta, GA master’s course may be?
i luv golfing!
try some places like rio de janerio .
I think you need to network in order to find a position. Usually its who you know not exactly what you know. Do you have a hospitality program at either school yo went to for your MBA or bachelors? Im sure someone can point you in the right direction. Maybe you should try finding a paid internship at a golf resort, internships do have potential to turn into a job. Good luck.
I live in Augusta and trust me , you do not want to work at The National. I would recommend working in the States though – I think it’s the best country for golf. Just depends want kind of climate you want , I really enjoyed golf in Arizona desert – that was really cool. If you are looking for a tropical setting I would choose Hawaii.
