Great Canada fishing trip?

Looking to take my grandfather on a fishing trip of a lifetime. I figured Canada would be the best place. I looked at a lot of places but there are so many I don’t even know where to start. A lot of the outfitters only offer row boats with motors and that would be too tough on him. He needs to be on a stable boat like a pontoon or a runabout. Any advice? Money is no object.

You didn’t say where in the country you are interested in fishing or what you want to catch.

The only place I’ve been to is called Double Bay resort on Hansen island of the northern tip of Vancouver Island. I can not recommend them because I found the owner to be less than hospitable.

There’s a place on the main land called River’s Inlet. That lodge has an extremely reliable history of customer satisfaction. That is where I would go next time.

For Ontario check out lac Des Milles Lacs and Lake of the Woods, Both big lakes with big boats and big fish. Walleye and Pike in Lac but LOTW has lakers too. Or check out Lake Nipigon for worl class trophy brookies and lakers. Look up Hard Core Fishing in Nipigon. http://www.hardcorefishing.org/

If money is no object, find the most expensive, luxurious resort you can find. Look for guarantees. If money is no object, you’ll find exactly what you need. Heck, if I weren’t so busy, I’d be your guide – if money is no object for Pete’s sake!!
