How to Release a Fish when Fishing

So when you release a fish its important not to knock the fish around too much, or to throw the fish into the water. It’s best to get water moving through the gills of a fish first. So here I’ve got this walleyed pike in the net and am releasing him.

    its a rubber net that is softer then a nylon net that digs and scrapes the fishes skin

    This video is one big joke !!! It has nothing to do with releasing fish without any harm. Guys !!! First of all….buy yourselves a proper landing net. The net you have on this clip works like sandpaper, causing a lot of damage to fish’s skin, fins and scales. Most of fish released after being rubbed down by the net of this kind finish on the bottom of the lake dead !!
