Nepali Food – A Taste of Kelowna 2009

Authentic Nepal food at the annual Taste of Kelowna event. The King of Kelowna restaurant owned and operated by Hira and Anju Hirendra at #12 515 Harvey Avenue (Lakeland Plaza) has recently opened. They offer East & South Asian Cuisine, plus sushi and are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and take-out. The Hirendras are from Nepal, but have also spent two years in Montreal.

    Great vid..we the British people have a very fond affection for the Nepalese people. Mainly bacause they form the Gurkha regiments of our army. The most loyal, fearsome, brave soldiers in the world. The Gurkas have won more Victoria Crosses than any othe division Unfortunately our bastard of a government and M.O.D. treat them like dirt. They fight and die for our country and yet are treated like dog muck by those in office. Thank you
