Will Obama return filled with admiration for the “grit and determination, and pure resourcefulness” of the people who live in grinding poverty in Indonesia, where the president lived from age 6 to age 10?

Will he decide that if people can survive like that in Indonesia, then the people in the USA should be willing to live under the same conditions? Will he say it would make us more competitive in the global economy, and it will build solidarity with the workers in the rest of the world?

Will the Obamanuts say this would reduce the resentment against Americans, because they feel entitled to live so much better than the workers in the developing nations?

Will Obama announce that we should all give up our comfortable homes, with insulated walls and glass windows, and live in grass huts like the people do in other parts of the world? Will he say that wall insulation and glass windows are “too materialistic,” and that American workers are out of step with the rest of the world?

Will anybody notice that the people in Canada, Germany, and Sweden are not living in grass huts, and they’re whupping our keesters in the global economy……?
