How to house train a puppy while at work and vaccines in Canada?

It’s winter here, and thinking to get a dog for X-mas, there’s a perfect puppy for adoption and i can’t wait to bring him home in about 2 weeks!

I understand that France and Canada offer employees paid vacations. Where else? Is the choice left to employees regarding where they vacation or does the company choose? Is this truly part of people’s entitled vacation or free time? How does it work?
