I'm actually have a ticket with a local chaity group in eastern Canada who is doing almost the same exact thing but with a regular home. They are selling 2500 tickets on a $150000 home. Though I believe all proceeds go to charity. I think they are all illegal if you do it for profit. I don’t get why you think it’s illegal.
